So you may be asking yourself: What is this revolution?
The revolution is simple; we are going to change the world. We are going to discuss the greatest problems that threaten our world today, and propose solutions. We are going to then take action. We will recruit near and far in order to thrive and accomplish our goal of creating a better world. We are here to take the burden of reparation off of the shoulders of our children. In short, we are here to revolutionize.
What are we revolting against?
You name it. Of recent years I have felt like our world is slowly collapsing into a pit of treachery and malice. We sit idly by and watch as our fellow man is beaten, broken, and destroyed. We rest comfortably in oblivious bliss in our furnished and heated homes while people in our community live in poverty and are unsure where to rest their heads and feel safe. Our minds are rarely plagued by anything other than deadlines, appointments and frivolities while people on the other side of the world worry about when they will eat next or whether they'll make it through the night. Even our close friends and relatives are screaming in agony on the inside while we return their fake smiles. I ask you, is there one amongst you has not at some point felt that you need to do something about the state of things?
Here's your chance. Today, right now, you can join in this fight to bring about a change in the nature of humanity. Right now, you can help. This revolution is about kindness. It is about thinking of others over yourself. It is about choosing interest over indifference, acceptance over intolerance, forgiveness over grudges, love over hate, and compassion over apathy.
We are not here to impress our own beliefs over that of others. We are not here to create a misguided tyranny. We are not here to pave a new road to hell with poorly executed intentions. I am not telling you to commit resources into a fruitless endeavor, or to give yourselves over to delinquent acts of shallow protest. I ask only that you believe, as I do, that we are capable of so much more than what we have placed before ourselves. This is the revolution is a manifestation of hope based on faith.
